Biography of Vin Diesel
Film actor, Actor (1967-)
Vin Diesel is an actor known for high-energy action movies that include the franchise "The Chronicles of Riddick" and "The Fast and the Furious."
Synopsis
Born on July 18, 1967, Vin Diesel left the university to create his first film, Multi-Facial, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 1995. His next film, Strays, was screened at Sundance. Diesel's work attracted the attention of Steven Spielberg, who chose the actor in Saving Private Ryan (1998). He appeared in several films before achieving his defining career role in The Fast and the Furious (2001). Additional films include The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), in which he did voice-over work, and Furious 7 (2015).
Early life and career
The actor, director, writer and producer Vin Diesel was born Mark Vincent on July 18, 1967 in Alameda County, California. Diesel and his twin brother Paul were raised by his mother Delora and stepfather, Irving H. Vincent. His biological father separated from his mother before they were born.
Not one who reveals details about his personal experience, Diesel has been sincere in developing a passion for early performance. His stepfather was a theater teacher and Diesel himself began acting at the age of 7 at the Theater for the New City. "I've always been sure that I was going to be a movie star," he told Entertainment Weekly. "Even as a child he knew it."
Diesel continued acting in theatrical productions throughout his adolescence. During his adolescence, he also took another occupation: fat club. This work helped him to develop a hardness that he has carried out in many of his cinematographic performances. As he explained to Men's Fitness, "I must have been in more than 500 fights, I fought every night and I bounced for nine or ten years, and these were not pretty fights."
Working as a porter also left his days off to audition for roles and study English at Hunter College in New York. Diesel was inspired by his days as an actor with difficulties for his first self-made film project, a company that helped launch his career.

'Ryan' and 'Riddick'
Diesel left the university to create his first film, Multi-Facial. Diesel wrote, produced, directed and starred in this short film about an actor willing to interpret any ethnic group to be able to work. The film was accepted and screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 1995. Diesel then directed, wrote and starred in the feature film Strays, in which he played a hard and tough drug dealer who learned to open up to emotional intimacy. The work played at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival.
Diesel's work attracted the attention of prominent director Steven Spielberg, who began working on his World War II epic, Saving Private Ryan (1998). Spielberg adapted an outstanding part for the actor and, after the release of the film, Diesel found big budget opportunities in his way. In the year 2000, he made an outstanding performance in the science fiction thriller Pitch Black. His character, Richard B. Riddick, appeared in two sequels: The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) and Riddick (2013).
'Fast and Furious'
Demonstrating his talent for a serious dramatic meal, Diesel joined Ben Affleck and Giovanni Ribisi as a stockbroker in Boiler Room (2000). He soon helped launch one of the most popular action franchises of the time with The Fast and the Furious of 2001. In the movie, Diesel played the famous street racer Dominic Toretto, who is investigated by an undercover cop (Paul Walker). Her status as a star in the action genre was further strengthened by Diesel's main role in XXX (2002).
Subsequently, Diesel sought to expand his image, assuming the 2005 comedy The Pacifier. For the 2006 Find Me Guilty, he let his famous fit physicist go play a mobster who defends himself in the trial. But Diesel soon returned to his popular hard-guy character with the latest versions of the Fast and Furious franchise, including Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and Furious 7 (2015). The last film of the series, however, was marred by tragedy. His friend and co-star Walker died in a car accident before filming was completed.
In 2014, Diesel lent his distinctive voice to the character of Groot in the sci-fi adventure Guardians of the Galaxy, an international blockbuster that grossed around $ 770 million. The following year, in addition to his furious appearance, he starred with Elijah Wood and Michael Caine in The Last Witch Hunter, a project that did not go well
