Wife
Bettany met her future wife Jennifer Connelly on the set of A Beautiful Mind in 2001, but it was a while after they started dating. After a whirlwind courtship, the couple married in January 2003 in Scotland.
"We got married quickly because I thought I had a period of three to six months before she saw through the accent," Bettany said jokingly to talk show host Kelly Ripa during a television interview.

Films
After studying at the British theater school, Drama Center London, Bettany appeared in several theatrical productions, including some by the Royal Shakespeare Company, and at the age of 21, she played Bill Sikes in Oliver Twist on the BBC.
