Childhood and early life
Iggy Azalea was born Amethy Kelly Amelia Kelly on June 7, 1990 in Sydney. Her family moved to Mullumbimby, New South Wales when she was still a baby.
His father, Brendan Kelly, was a painter and cartoonist and his mother, Tanya, cleaned vacation homes and hotels. Her father inspired her to look at art when she was a teenager.
Azalea, who has been teased for his homemade attire, used to hate school mainly, apart from the art class. He finally dropped out of high school and started working with his mother to raise money to fulfill his dream of moving to the United States.
He started rapping at the age of 14 and even formed a group with two other girls. However, the group eventually disbanded as the other members were not as serious as her.
Since she was 11, she was attracted to hip-hop music. However, she felt alienated in her homeland since there was no one to share her interests with. He became friends with Derek, a teenager from the Bahamas, whom he met online, and began to share his rap songs with him for comments.

Iggy Azalea began his musical career working with Backbone, a member of the hip-hop music group 'Dungeon Family' in Atlanta, Georgia. During this time, he met FKi and Natalie Sims, with whom he would collaborate in the future.
