Eminem was born in Missouri, but his formative years were influenced by his life in the Detroit neighborhood. Having developed a passion for rap at the early age of fourteen, he began attending local open mic competitions with friends Mike Ruby and Proof. As he grew up, he formed a group of rappers called 'D12', which became quite popular with the public. Soon, it caught the attention of the famous record producer, Dr. Dre, and the two formed a lasting professional relationship. With the help of Dre, he released successful albums like 'The Slim Shady LP' and 'The Marshall Mathers LP'. His albums have been all his hits, becoming one of the biggest sensations in the rap industry. Most of this rapper's songs are based on his personal struggles with members of his family and his career. This is considered by many as the USP of their albums, which brings them closer to the hearts of their fans. He has often had problems with legislators, sometimes due to violence, at other times due to substance abuse. However, what remains more controversial is the typeface he uses in his songs. He is known for his explicit use of words, often sending aggressive signals. However, this famous rap artist has managed to win the hearts of critics and fans alike, accumulating fifteen 'Grammy Awards' for his songs.

Childhood and early life
Eminem was born as Marshall Bruce Mathers III in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Marshall Bruce Mathers, Jr. and his wife Deborah Rae "Debbie" Nelson, on October 17, 1972.
Marshall's parents were members of 'Daddy Warbucks', a band he used to play at a hotel called 'Ramada Inns'. Marshall's father, Bruce, and his mother Debbie eventually separated, and they continued to have different partners.
The young man has three half brothers, Michael, Sarah and Nate. Marshall lived with his mother, Debbie, and they changed cities often, before settling in Detroit, Michigan.
The boy grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood, where he was often harassed by young African-Americans. As a child he showed an affinity with comics and music, particularly rap.
The boy never had good relations with his mother, but he was close to his stepbrother Ronnie. Marshall's education suffered as a result of constant fights with Debbie, and he left Lincoln's high school when he was seventeen.

Career
When Marshall was only fourteen years old, he joined his friend Mike Ruby to practice abduction. The two friends called themselves 'Manix' and 'M & M', the latter became 'Eminem' in the future.
Marshall also attended rap competitions at the 'Osborn High School', along with his friend DeShaun Dupree Holton, who later became famous as rapper Proof. The two rappers went to the contests held at West 7 Mile, in Detroit. To excel in art, Eminem practiced the writing of long words and phrases that rhyme with each other.
Initially he hit with a group called "New Jacks", but then he went on to "Soul Intent", a band that released a song in 1995, starring Eminem and Proof.
The two friends later split from 'Soul Intent' and formed their own group called 'D12' or 'The Dirty Dozen' in 1996. Members include other famous rappers, Kon Artis and Bizarre, and the group has produced several singles record as 'Fight Music', 'Shit on You' and 'How Come'.
The same year, in 1996, Eminem released his first album titled 'Infinite'. The album was recorded under the motto of 'FBT Productions', and included songs that spoke about the difficulties he faced after the birth of his daughter, at a time when he was financially unstable.
The budding artist saw so much poverty that in 1997 he was forced to live in his mother's house with his family. During the same time, to put aside the frustration that was building up inside him, he created an antisocial alter ego called 'Slim Shady'. He even recorded his first extended game with the same name in the same year.
Also in 1997, he participated in the 'Rap Olympic Games', and came in second. Dr. Dre, owner of the record label 'Aftermath Entertainment', heard a copy of 'Slim Shady EP (Extended Play)', and was very impressed, expressing the intention to work with the talented rapper.
In February of 1999, Dr. Dre helped Eminem to release an album titled "The Slim Shady LP", which immediately catapulted the rap artist to fame. It was one of the most successful albums of the year, with hits like 'My Name Is', '97 Bonnie and Clyde' and 'Guilty Conscience'.
The same year, he founded the record label 'Shady Records' along with his friend Paul Rosenberg.
In May of 2000, Eminem released an album
