Pratt joined the cast of The O.C. for his last season in 2006-07, and would be released by a certain type of comedy for a good part of his film career. He joined Amy Poehler's Parks and Recreation comedy in an episode with several episodes as the uncomfortable musician Andy Dwyer during his debut season in 2009, becoming a regular in the second season of the series. Pratt stayed with the series until its end in 2015.
